I WISH I COULD CHOOSE 4.5 STARS!
The barricade is a great speaker! After having multiple sets of skull candy headphones and earbuds, we highly anticipated a Bluetooth speaker from them. We chose the Barricade because we wanted something that would be loud and put off good sound in a large room or out on our patio. This gives off so much more! I could hear it perfectly throughout the house! It's a perfect size and shape. Overall, truly a great speaker. However, my reasoning for the rating would be this: 1. When you have a loud song playing with a stronger bass, it seems the front piece rattles or vibrates against the inside speaker so you can hear a bit of a rattle. * my solution: I just laid the speaker on its back and it was fine, otherwise you could turn your music down. 2. I wish the speaker would recognize inactivity and turn itself off to save battery (not many do), but this would be awesome if it did! Again, I would give 4.5 stars instead of 4, but it wasn't a true 5 to my ears. Totally worth the buy though! Great sound! #getloud #GearTester

WATERFALL READY SPEAKER
I got this speaker about a week ago and have used it every day since. I work as an outdoor guide (kayaking, hiking, skiing, and much more) and my guests and I have loved being able to have music without having to worry about ruining the speaker. There's a sweet waterfall/swimming hole near me, and I can't wait until next summer so I can take it there. No need to worry about getting my phone wet either, since I can skip songs, adjust volume, and answer phone calls on the speaker. Overall, the speaker has great sound and is SUPER easy to use. Only complaint is that the charging cord is a bit short and doesn't come with a outlet box, so you have to use your own, but that's pretty minor. #geartester
